Sports News - 25th October 2024

The trip to Thoulstone Park was an incredibly rewarding experience, offering students the chance to connect with nature while engaging in hands-on learning.

Outdoor education fosters essential skills such as teamwork, resilience and problem solving, allowing students to step outside of their comfort zone.  Students participated in the following activities; rock climbing, archery, pioneering, axe throwing, low ropes and team challenge. Students were able to build lasting memories and also gained a deeper appreciation for the environment and their own capabilities.

This enriching experience underscores the importance of integrating outdoor learning into education, promoting personal growth alongside academic development.  Despite the weather, all students engaged well with the activities and overcame various personal challenges.
