How to apply for entry into Year 7
For parents and carers considering a place at St Gregory’s for entry into Year 7, we would advise that in the first instance parents/carers follow the guidance as issued by B&NES at http://www.bathnes.gov.uk/services/schools-colleges-and-learning/admissions-schools or your home Local Authority.
Application forms must be submitted directly to the home Local Authority, to arrive no later than 23.59 hours on 31 October.
If your child is a baptised Catholic, you must also provide a copy of the baptism certificate to the school, even if you already have a child attending our school. Please ensure you return this with your Supplementary Information Form, if relevant. This can be found in the Admissions Policy for the relevant year of entry and follow the guidance as provided.
In-year admissions
We recognise that children change schools for a variety of reasons from moving home to changes in family circumstances. Choosing a school is not a decision that families take lightly and we aim to support you through this process, ensuring a smooth transition for your child.
To make an application to St Gregory’s for an In-Year Admission, parents and carers are advised to download and complete the Admissions Policy for the relevant year of entry and follow the guidance as provided.
