A sixth form education for the whole person: academically, personally, spiritually
The New Sixth is a unique sixth form built in partnership with the Diocese of Clifton and the Diocese of Bath and Wells, opened in 2013. Our sixth form is open to all and welcomes students who wish to learn and grow in an inclusive and supportive environment, founded on Christian values.
Our outstanding sixth form campus provides students with their own purpose-built Learning Resources Centre, state of the art science laboratories and café. This bespoke facility bridges the gap between school, university and the world of work, allowing our sixth formers the autonomy and space to grow in a supportive, high-achieving environment.
The achievement of our students consistently places our sixth form as one of the top achieving sixth forms locally.
Our students achieve to the highest standard at A Level with impressive results across all curriculum areas, ensuring that our students secure the optimum grades and UCAS points for entry to university, their chosen career or higher level apprenticeship pathway. Students leaving The New Sixth progress to some of the very best academic institutions including Oxford, Cambridge and the Russell Group.
