Being part of the Student Senior Leadership team helped me realise the importance of taking responsibility. As a role model for younger students, I had to ensure I was visible and responsible in carrying out my duties. Listening to younger students is also vital and I made sure that I talked to the lower years on a regular basis and took their ideas for fun events, activities and school improvements on board.

This role not only helped me to hone my leadership and communication skills but also fostered a deeper sense of collaboration purpose and within the school community.
